Howdy! I’m Larry Archer…
Born and raised in Emanuel County, Ga., I’ve been using and working on firearms for as long as I can remember. My main focus is building custom precision hunting and target rifles. I started Archer Custom Rifles in 1989 with a desire to build rifles that had precision that a shooter could count on.

I mix common sense and decades of experience along with a down-to-earth, get-it-done attitude. And I welcome new technology. I will never stop learning and I will never stop perfecting the Ultimate Rifle.
What I enjoy most about building custom hunting and target rifles is the precision factor. I pull out all the stops to make sure when a customer purchases an Archer Custom Rifle, they are getting an accurate and authentic rifle that they are 100% satisfied with.
My ongoing goal is to remain competitive. Numerous rifles that were built in my shop have excelled in both short and long-range competition matches through IBS, UBS and PRS and at local shooting clubs. Before I let a rifle leave my shop I am confident it is ready to compete with the best of the best.
