This was a fun build with a tried and tested H-S Precision stock that has become of one of my hunting customers’ favorites. I really like the texture of this synthetic stock. It comes in a wide variety of color combinations as well.
The 6.5 Creedmoor has become very popular over the last several years for hunting rifles. It’s light on recoil and has pretty consistent ballistics. BUT due to it’s recent popularity, make sure you have access to ammo.
The PROOF Research carbon fiber barrel lightened the weight of this rifle. It’s a matter of your own preference when it comes to those details, but I’ll be glad to give you my sound advice.
